   Oh my goodness, these photos are awesome. My husband and I went to Normandy last year, and I am making him a scrapbook of our trip. I would love to purchase a few of these photos to add to my book. Would that be possible? If you email them, I might possibly need a photo release to have them printed.

     Hello Jane,
     I have sent you an e-mail about the images in question and where I found them. I don’t “own” the rights to any of these photos as they are considered to be in the “public domain”, hence I cannot sell them or give a photo release for them.

   You might want to take another look at your Statue of Liberty shot with the ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ behind it..

   I think you’ll find it’s not the Brooklyn Bridge – but the Rainbow Bridge. And the photograph depicts a scene from Tokyo, Japan.

     The original articles were written by Jon Tevlin of the Star Tribune. The photos were taken by Frank Glick. You can find the contact information for both through the links at the bottom of my article Standing Guard here at Arts-Stew.
     I have also sent you an e-mail with the links to the original articles and to the e-mail contact info for both Tevlin and Glick. Check your e-mail for those.

     I recieved the old cowboy stars photo via e-mail from a friend. It already had the numbers on it along with the quiz. As far as the original is concerned I don’t know where you can find it. I have searched for it on google and other search engines but was unable to find one. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help to you.
